IOC 2014 Registration > Abstract

The scientific programme consists of 10 Plenary Lectures and 48 Symposia.

Plenary Lectures are keynote addresses by outstanding ornithologists.

Symposia cover a wide range of current ornithological topics. Each symposium will feature five papers, including two keynote speakers and three papers chosen from the submitted abstracts.
For the Symposia list, please see here.

Contributed Oral papers and Posters will cover original research or new syntheses. Oral papers will be selected from submitted abstracts by a review panel from the Scientific Programme Committee members.

Round Table Discussions and Special Interest Group meetings can cover any aspect of ornithology. The emphasis is on discussion and exchange of information and ideas. The IOC also offers facilities for meetings immediately following the Congress. More information can be found here.
